Hey all, it’s been a while—well over four years since I last posted here. I’m writing to let you know that, in the coming weeks and months, I will be re-inventing and breathing new life into this website. The reason for the change is the recent completion of my first novel, provisionally titled Lucky Haskins. The new site will be focused on writing, my book, and other creative interests.
If you’re visiting this page for the first time, I hope you will check back to see what’s coming. If you’re a long time follower—thank you—you’ve meant a lot to me. I hope you’ll stick around, and find the new format to be worthwhile.
I don’t yet know what will become of my book. I’ve only recently begun the process of submitting the manuscript to a few potential publishers. My hope is to find a reputable independent press with the right ethos, which believes in my story and is willing to take a chance on it. This is far from guaranteed. Absent this, I may pursue self or hybrid publishing. I’ve simply poured too much into my story to have it sit in a shoe box under my stairwell. One way or another, I look forward to sharing it with you all.
As always, thanks for reading and best regards,
Tim
Congratulations on writing a novel, Tim. That’s an impressive feat. I want to read it!
Thanks, Gayle! It’s been a long time coming, though it does feel good to finally put a wrap around it. Hopefully, there will be a published version out there sometime in the near future. I’ll be sure to let you know!
Congratulations Tim!
Love the title as I know where that sign is.
Looking forward to reading your work. Let me know how I can reserve a copy.
Thanks, Jeff! I kind of wondered if you’d remember that road sign. I remember saying once that if I ever wrote a book, I’d use that as a character name. Funny how that stayed embedded in the grey matter all these years and somehow came to be (even if I did have to drop the “e” in “Luckey”). It might be some time before there’s a physical copy available, but I’ll be sure to let you know when it is. Hope all is well with you!
